Machining Capabilities

CEI has continued to reduce costs and improve machining
tolerances by upgrading its equipment and processes. We have 4 axis
CNC turning and milling capabilities with automatic tool changing.
Our engineering staff uses CAD (AutoCad Rel.14--CADKEY 7.0), which
is fully integrated with CAM.

Our business is structured two ways. One, our skilled
tool and diemakers build a wide variety of precision tools, fixtures,
special machines, etc.. And second, we machine components on the contract.
CEI understands the importance of flexibility and can work around
the clock to meet tight schedules.

Quality
and Service Oriented |

Quality and delivery are priorities with us. CEI has an enclosed
room for inspection that houses a Cordax 3 axis coordinate measuring
machine. Our formal quality control system is approved to the MIL-1-45208A
specifications. We are presently working toward certification to ISO
9001. We have done defense contract work for major corporations such
as General Electric, Olin Corp., Detroit Diesel Allison and the U.
S. Army's Rock Island Arsenal.
